About

Who am I?

A person who is living a simpler life. Partner, Mother, British Blue and Wolfhound owner. I’m a Parentless parent too. I adore purple, laughter and life.

I have had a full working life in a variety of roles, from Archives Assistant to National Fleet Manager, Science Projects Officer and Budget Officer and everywhere in between. The highlight of my working life, was being able to assist in the deployment of equipment as a result of the Banda Aceh tsunami.

I have now learnt that being a mother is the hardest but most fulfilling work I will ever do, and I love every minute. Including the sleepless years. (All three and half years of them!)

I’ve recently gone back to University and retrained to become a Library Super Hero – and am loving this new adventure.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy exploring the world with me.
