In my day at primary school, accidents happened, then were forgotten quickly. Now it seems that everyone is so quick with their phones to record it, they don’t help you when you fall down on the side of the road, like what happened to me recently. People didn’t stop, they walked by, intent on their phones or recording the middle aged woman sprawled in the gutter bleeding and unable to stand.
This article is quite a simple tale, but so powerful. I’m signing the pledge – though as a non smart phone user, it’s not a big thing for me. But I can see the power of smartphone addiction each and everyday.
