Africa Writes

I came across this and wanted to share this opportunity with you.

A weekend of contemporary African literature and thought, in partnership with the Royal African Society the British Library presents Africa Writes, the exciting festival of contemporary literature and thought from Africa and the diaspora, returns to the British Library. Expect an exciting programme of book launches, panel conversation, readings, performance and workshops which showcases the best in new writing from the continent and the diaspora.

I love Nnedi Okorafor and her wonderful visions of a Future Africa, she’s also written for Black Panther.

Ah to be able to attend this festival, I wonder if we have anything similar here in Australia?
